About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Service Engineer to join the dynamic team at ILASER PTE. LTD.. As a Service Engineer, you will play a key role in providing technical support and maintenance for our state-of-the-art machine system. Whether you are an entry-level professional or have some experience in the field, we welcome your application.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct installation, maintenance and servicing of machine at customer sites

• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues of equipment, identify root causes and implement solutions

• Collaborate with the engineering team to design and develop new system components if needed

• Provide customer support via phone, email or on-site visits to ensure client satisfaction

• Maintain detailed records of all service activities and prepare reports

• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments technology and continuously expand your technical knowledge

What we're looking for

• Min. Higher Nitec in any field of Engineering or a related technical discipline

• Experience in servicing and maintaining complex machinery or equipment, preferably in the 3D printer, laser, MAKER equipments or photonics industry, but not a must

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues

• Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers and collaborate with the engineering team

• Willingness to travel to customer sites for on-site service and support

• Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements technology

• Possess valid Class 3 driving licence is preferred
