Job Description

Job Summary:

Role: Technical Service Engineer

Start: ASAP

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Singapore

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Technical Services Engineer to support manufacturing production operations by ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role focuses on troubleshooting technical issues, improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance within a regulated manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues, implement effective solutions, and support operational excellence.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Hands-on, proactive approach to equipment and process issues.

- Ability to work in a manufacturing or production environment with cross-functional teams.

- Strong understanding of equipment maintenance and reliability concepts.

- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability.

- Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through continuous improvement initiatives.

- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process-related issues to minimize downtime and ensure stable operations.

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive timely issue resolution and operational improvements.

- Develop, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation.

- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO 13485, and other relevant regulatory requirements.

- Liaise with vendors and equipment manufacturers for technical support, maintenance, and upgrades.

- Support equipment qualification, validation, and improvement projects as required.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
