Job Summary

Drive Kowa Group's business expansion in machine vision and automation solutions across ASEAN by identifying new opportunities, managing sales cycles, and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver innovative smart factory solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in machine vision and automation across ASEAN and Asian markets
  • Build and manage sales targets, strategies, and goals independently from prospecting to deal closure
  • Analyze and interpret customer requirements, URS, and applications to create tailored sales plans and vision solutions
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, develop proposals and quotations, and conduct sales presentations, visits, and negotiations
  • Monitor and evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities to influence regional sales growth and profitability
  • Achieve sales targets and profitability goals consistently
  • Communicate and report sales developments, strategies, and implementation progress to the CEO Office and key stakeholders in Japan
  • Provide special reports and develop counter plans during crisis or challenging periods to support executive decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineering teams to integrate machine vision capabilities with smart factory technologies when required

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B technical sales of machine vision, automation, or industrial equipment in ASEAN markets
  • Experience working with system integrators or in factory automation environments
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively develop new accounts with a hunter mindset
  • Strong technical and engineering knowledge of machine vision systems
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented approach
  • Proficiency in English language
  • willing to travel extensively in the Asean region.
