As a Technical Sales Engineer at Lian Seng Hardware, you will be the primary point of contact for clients in the construction, marine, and oil & gas industries. You are responsible for driving revenue by managing existing accounts and hunting for new business opportunities for our range of standard fasteners and customized engineering solutions.
Sales & Business Development: Identify and develop new customer segments within the marine, construction, and heavy industries.
Account Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients (main contractors, engineers, and procurement managers) to ensure repeat business.
Technical Consultation: Understand client requirements for customized hardware (e.g., specific L-bolts, J-bolts, or CNC machining services) and provide appropriate technical solutions.
Quotation & Negotiation: Prepare sales quotations, proposals, and tender documents efficiently. Negotiate pricing and terms to close deals while maintaining healthy margins.
Coordination: Work closely with the Production and Engineering Teams to ensure that customized orders meet technical specifications and delivery timelines.
Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in building materials, hardware, or the construction industry.
Technical Skills: Ability to read basic construction drawings or technical specifications is a strong advantage.
Soft Skills: Results-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
