To strenghten BICOs commercial operations across Asia, we are looking for a driven Technical Sales Development Specialist / Manager (m/f/d). This position will drive lead qualification and conversion across diagnostics, omics, CLD, and biotech and will execute targeted campaigns in underpenetrated markets.
The role can be based in our Singapore office, or in designated sales territories in Japan, Korea, India or Southeast Asian countries.
BICO'sLife Science Solutions product portfolio encompasses award-winning devices which are used at prestigious academic and pharmaceutical labs around the world to automate workflows in numerous application areas, including stable cell line development, single-cell omics, high-throughput screening, drug discovery and cell-imaging microscopy portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Market Development
- Drive lead qualification and conversion across diagnostics, omics, CLD, and biotech R&D.
- Execute targeted campaigns in underpenetrated markets (Japan, Korea, India, Southeast Asia).
- Represent Scienion/Cellenion at key events and during customer visits to expand the pipeline.
Technical Business Development
- Act as a technical lead in pre-sales engagements with strong application understanding.
- Align customer needs with our product value propositions.
- Support feasibility studies, demos, and coordinate with internal experts.
Channel & Sales Execution Support
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to progress deals and offer technical depth.
- Train and support distributors through joint visits and enablement activities.
- Track sales funnel activity and contribute to forecasting accuracy.
Strategic Account Penetration
- Identify and develop high-potential accounts across diagnostics, academia, and translational research.
- Establish strategic relationships with PIs, lab managers, and innovation hubs.
- Build territory strategies with clear quarterly objectives, operating as a hunter aligned to our application roadmap.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related scientific field is mandatory
- Advanced degree (M.Sc., Ph.D.) is an advantage, especially in areas relevant to diagnostics, omics, or proteomics
- multiple years of experience in technical sales, business development, or field applications within the life sciences or diagnostics space
- Strong application knowledge in diagnostic workflows, single-cell or multiplex analysis, andbiotech R&D
- Proven ability to develop new accounts and convert technical discussions into sales opportunities
- Experience working with distributors, conducting technical training, and supporting sales funnel progression
- Exposure to commercial activities in Japan, Korea, India, and Southeast Asia preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage scientific audiences and KOLs
- Team player who can operate independently while maintaining alignment with regional strategy
- Proficient in English; additional language capabilities (e.g., Japanese, Korean, or Mandarin) are a plus
- Valid work permission for designated work location
