Primary Function
- Sales & Marketing function, that will include direct & indirect sales channels and development of e-sales channels.
- Manage and lead from sales orders to process and involved in logistics arrangements to ensure deliveries are on time through portfolio of products for sales and launch in the various segments.
- Involve in customers forecasting and manage inventory, monitor safety stocks and ensuring readiness for key accounts across Food, Pharma & Cosmetics/Personal care industries.
- Ability to lead and build a new team, hands-on and technically competent, with understanding of food additives applications. Understanding emulsification/solubilisation O/W and W/O, will be advantageous as the segments of applications.
- Working closely with Technical, Quality, Operations / Production, and development of technical commercial related activities and ability to work with top management.
- Able to lead, multi-task and deep dive into country regulations and commercial market entry requirements.
- Global sales exposure and managing various sales channels through channel management and technical training of customers to channel management.
Knowledge, Skills and Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Pharmaceutical or Personal Care / Cosmetics / Food or technical background and some sales commercial experience would be preferred.
- Motivated technical candidates seeking commercial opportunities to advance their careers, gaining strategic business acumen with business impact.
- Ability to travel and have a high awareness of intercultural business practices and excellent in presentation skills.
- Some initial experience in technical sales of food additives or ingredients, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and a technical applications know-how. Candidates with 2 to 4 years technical experience and wanting to move to commercial, will be considered.
- High appetite to learn, strong software skills and languages, and ability to work across functions and a team player with high drive to learn in technical commercial activities.
- Good soft-skills of customer service, willingness to learn both technically and commercially, and skilled in software like Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Experience in finance related IT systems (Navision) would be an advantage.
