We are currently partnering with a leading fintech in the payments industry to hire a Technical Project Manager who will play a key role in a large-scale digital initiative.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technical solutions, including system enhancements and upgrades, to meet project requirements while staying within the allocated budget and timeline.
- Work closely with various application teams to manage technical dependencies of the solution.
- Plan, track, and address risks and issues related to technical delivery.
- Collaborate with Architects and Development Leads to ensure the solution design aligns with enterprise design principles, security, and control standards.
- Partner with the Development Manager to guide application teams in building system enhancements.
- Manage the technical implementation plan across application teams, ensuring a smooth production cutover and providing adequate post-implementation support.
- Promptly escalate any issues that could impact the project timeline and propose effective solutions or workarounds..
Job Requirements:
- Strong technical and platform knowledge, particularly in Payment Platforms.
- Solid understanding of the business domain, particularly in payments (e.g., ISO, SWIFT, Local Schemes).
- Over 11 years of experience in developing and delivering global/regional IT solutions and managing IT delivery teams.
- Proven experience in implementing large-scale, highly available applications or managing large project implementations.
- Extensive experience in systems development, including coding, functional specifications, technical specifications, and testing (at least 8 years in aggregate).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, synthesis, systems thinking, and solutioning skills.
