Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and senior management to clearly define project scope, goals, and deliverables, always keeping the customer first in mind to drive value.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed tasks, realistic timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
- Identify and secure all necessary resources (human, financial, technical) required for successful project execution, taking ownership of resource needs.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and proactively develop robust mitigation strategies.
- Lead and motivate diverse project teams, monitor project progress, and identify any deviations from the plan, implementing corrective actions with an impact-driven mindset.
- Manage change effectively by implementing robust change management processes to adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Facilitate regular project meetings to review progress, address impediments, and make informed, timely decisions.
- Ensure strict adherence to established project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), strategically leveraging Agile principles for iterative development and continuous improvement where appropriate.
- Ensure all project deliverables consistently meet defined quality standards and fully satisfy stakeholder requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication. including internal and external stakeholders.
- Accurately manage project budgets, meticulously track expenditures, and ensure all financial objectives are met, demonstrating fiscal ownership.
Requirements:
- At least a Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years in IT project management, with a robust track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Extensive hands-on experience working in Agile environments, including practical familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, or other iterative methodologies.
- Project Management related certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PRINCE 2 is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks effectively.
- Highly adaptable and resilient, comfortable navigating ambiguity, embracing change, and adjusting strategies in dynamic, evolving environments.
- Deep understanding and practical application of Agile principles, promoting iterative development, continuous improvement, and rapid responsiveness to change.
- Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial principles, coupled with practical experience in managing project budgets, contracts, and procurement processes.
Technical Competencies
- Excellent understanding of: System integration concepts (APIs, service-based architectures, messaging, ETL)
- Data integration, transformation, and synchronization
- Security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
- Ability to review and challenge technical designs and implementation approaches.
- Experience working with in-house systems and collaborating with external software vendors.
- Familiarity with cloud-based and enterprise systems is a plus.
