We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to drive cross-functional hardware and chip development projects at Espressif. You'll work closely with engineering, product, and customer teams to ensure successful outcome delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Own project outcomes end-to-end. Lead key projects from goal definition through delivery, with full accountability for outcomes, timelines, and quality.
- Define and structure the problem. Partner with technical leads across IC design, firmware, and hardware teams to break down objectives, align on priorities, and shape execution paths under uncertainty.
- Drive cross-functional alignment. Coordinate across Engineering, Product, and Customer teams to close information gaps, resolve conflicting priorities, and keep stakeholders aligned.
- Manage risk and drive decisions. Surface project risks and bottlenecks early, and drive timely, closed-loop decision-making on critical issues.
- Leverage AI to scale impact. Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) for requirements analysis, progress tracking, risk assessment, and meeting synthesis to improve project transparency and team efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- 2 or more years of experience in project management or technical roles; experience with semiconductor, hardware, software, or IoT projects is a strong plus.
- Proficient with AI tools for productivity.
- Results-oriented, with a track record of delivering in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Sound judgment and decision-making with incomplete information.
- Structured thinker — able to break down complex technical problems and focus on what matters most.
