Technical Project Manager DevSecOps

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager – DevSecOps to lead the delivery of security-focused technology initiatives and drive the integration of security across the software development lifecycle. This role combines strong project management expertise with hands-on knowledge of DevSecOps, Secure SDLC, cloud security, and CI/CD practices. The successful candidate will manage complex projects from initiation to completion, working closely with engineering, security, architecture, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions. The role requires strong leadership, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills to ensure successful project outcomes within agreed timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of DevSecOps and Secure SDLC initiatives across applications and cloud environments.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with business and security goals.
• Manage project plans, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, security, architecture, infrastructure, operations, and procurement.
• Drive the integration of security controls and governance into CI/CD pipelines and software development processes.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and provide regular status updates to management and key stakeholders.
• Facilitate risk assessments, security reviews, threat modeling activities, and vulnerability remediation efforts.
• Ensure projects meet compliance, security, and operational requirements while maintaining delivery quality and efficiency.
• Prepare executive reports, dashboards, and project documentation to support governance and decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant IT experience, including at least 3 years in project management or delivery leadership roles.
• Experience delivering DevSecOps, Secure SDLC, application security, or cloud security initiatives.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and Policy-as-Code frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud security services, CSPM solutions, vulnerability management, and threat modeling practices.
• Experience working in regulated environments such as financial services is advantageous.
