Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and manage large‑scale cloud transformation and migration programs within our cloud practice. The role requires strong expertise in Azure and cloud migration projects, along with proven experience managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously in an enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud transformation, data center to cloud migrations, stakeholder management, and governance, with the ability to drive programs end‑to‑end and deliver outcomes on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Management

  • Lead and manage multiple large‑scale cloud transformation and migration projects across the cloud practice
  • Plan, prepare, track, and manage project schedules, milestones, and dependencies
  • Drive end‑to‑end delivery of cloud initiatives, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and budget
  • Track and report schedule, cost, and delivery variances across projects

Cloud Transformation Delivery

  • Manage projects involving Cloud Migrations, Integrations, and Transformations
  • Oversee data center to cloud (Azure or other public cloud) migration initiatives
  • Ensure effective coordination between client teams, offshore teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders
  • Apply strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, including virtualization, compute, storage, and networking

Stakeholder & Governance Management

  • Act as the primary point of coordination for client stakeholders, internal delivery teams, and leadership
  • Lead weekly project / program reviews, governance meetings, and status reporting
  • Provide regular project status updates to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Manage escalations proactively and resolve issues under tight deadlines

Risk, Issue & Dependency Management

  • Identify, document, and track risks, issues, and dependencies across cloud programs
  • Drive mitigation and resolution plans to closure
  • Ensure consistent governance and compliance across all transformation initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

Experience

  • 12+ years of experience managing cloud transformation, migration, or consulting projects
  • Strong experience delivering enterprise‑scale cloud projects, preferably on Microsoft Azure
  • Proven track record of managing multiple complex IT programs simultaneously

Primary Skills

  • Experience executing large‑scale Cloud Migrations, Integrations, and Transformations
  • Strong background in program and project management within cloud environments
  • Solid understanding of virtualization and cloud infrastructure, including:
  • Azure Cloud technologies
  • Compute, Storage, and Networking
  • Experience managing multi‑stakeholder environments, including customers and offshore teams

Secondary Skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational abilities
  • Experience handling escalations and high‑pressure delivery environments
  • Strong governance experience, including:
  • Regular project tracking and reporting
  • Leadership updates and review cadence
  • Risk and issue management

Tools & Technology (Good to Have)

  • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or other Project / Program Management tools
  • High‑level understanding of Azure Cloud, Databases, Networking, Virtualization, and Public Cloud platforms

Certifications (Good to Have)

  • PMP / PRINCE2 (Preferred)
  • Agile Project Management certifications
  • Other recognized Program or Project Management certifications

Soft Skills

  • Strong leadership and accountability mindset
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross‑functional and global teams

Education

  • BCA / MCA / BE / B.Tech or equivalent qualification
