About The Team

The mission of the Marketplace Intelligence and Data team is to build large-scale data and intelligent products to facilitate the growth of Shopee&aposs e-commerce business. This team is responsible for building Shopee&aposs e-commerce data warehouse, development of merchant and operational data products, end-to-end traffic data products, product algorithms (including product listing, control, information optimization, SPU and price competitiveness, etc), promotion algorithms (including product recruitment, product selection, and recommendation algorithms), review algorithms, user profiles, as well as fundamental artificial intelligence capabilities such as machine translation, speech algorithms, image algorithms, and KYC verification.

Job Description

As a Technical Product Manager at Shopee, you will drive technical project delivery from request planning, competitor analysis, development, testing, UAT and launch. You will also collect, analyze and summarize customer feedback and work with various stakeholders to deliver improvements. You are the owner of different technical projects and a bridge between internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end product development of technical projects, from ideation, data analysis, development, testing, launch and iterations.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities, gaps and areas of improvement for current solutions.
  • Manage stakeholders expectations and project timelines and deliver projects in alignment with business objectives
  • Collaborate with other product team, and work closely with data science and engineering teams to deliver technical solutions, including but not limited to identity verification services.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on technical and data-driven products.
  • Experience in SQL, model training, and excellent analytical, logical thinking, problem solving, stakeholder management, project management, product sense, communication and writing skills
  • Strong domain knowledge in e-commerce, marketplace operations, data intelligence, and experience in e-commerce, Internet or IT companies.
  • Experience working with large-scale data systems, including knowledge of data pipelines, analytics, and machine learning applications.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and agile environment
