We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Services Executive, Procurement to join our Singapore team and support the efficient execution of technical and purchasing processes for a diverse fleet of vessels. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in shipping, procurement, and technical operations, who are looking to grow their career in a dynamic maritime environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and follow up on class and flag requirements to ensure vessels remain seaworthy and commercially ready.
- Support vessel flag changes, ownership transfers, and requests for technical information.
- Source, coordinate, and follow up on offland items requiring repair or service.
- Assist Superintendents with dry-docking activities including planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, and documentation closure.
- Ensure all vessel trading certificates are valid and updated.
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including issuing purchase orders, sourcing suppliers, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of stores and spares.
- Monitor supplier performance, review contracts, and negotiate competitive pricing.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum GCE O Level or equivalent Diploma preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Executive with some purchasing exposure in a shipping company.
- Good knowledge of technical, purchasing, and logistics processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication.
- Strong communication skills in spoken and written English.
- Flair for numbers and attention to detail.
