Responsibilities
- Perform chemistry/microbiological testing of food, Chinese medicine, water, feed and other.
- Register and prepare samples for testing.
- Generate reports using the Laboratory Information Management System.
- Prepare media/reagent for lab use.
- Perform quality control checks on media, work environment, and equipment.
- Operate robot for lab testing.
- Document results in compliance with ISO 17025 certification requirements. Ensure that high quality standards are maintained at all times in compliance with the company's policies and procedures and ISO17025.
- Maintain a clean and orderly lab environment.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- ITE or Higher NITEC or Diploma in Food Science / Biomedical Science / Chemical Processing or its equivalent.
- Ability to understand and follow complex technical instructions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work independently and within a team-oriented environment.
- Pays close attention to detail and has strong analytical and organization skills
- Highly motivated individual who acts with integrity
- Able to work 5.5 days per week
