Our client is a well-established organisation involved in the planning and delivery of large-scale infrastructure and building developments. They are seeking a senior technical professional to provide strategic oversight on MEP systems across multiple projects, with a focus on design governance, system optimisation, and technology adoption.

Key responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and oversight on MEP design across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with organisational standards and project objectives
Lead the review, standardisation, and continuous improvement of MEP design frameworks, specifications, and benchmarks
Act as a key technical authority to project teams, supporting design coordination, resolving complex engineering issues, and ensuring quality delivery
Oversee testing & commissioning strategies, including participation in FAT, SAT, and integrated systems testing for critical MEP infrastructure
Drive the evaluation and adoption of new MEP technologies, digital solutions, and engineering innovations
Engage and influence key stakeholders including consultants, contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies

Role requirements

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP design and delivery of large-scale or complex building projects
Proven experience in a senior technical, design management, or advisory capacity within consultancy or client-side environments
Strong knowledge of building services systems, codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and drive technical excellence across projects
Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
