Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Technical Manager to lead a cross-functional engineering team in building scalable software and platform solutions. You will drive technical strategy, guide architecture and design, uplift engineering capabilities, and ensure successful endtoend delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers.
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of multiple engineering initiatives.
- Define technical direction, review designs, and ensure architectural alignment.
- Drive Agile and DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, IaC, testing).
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Security, and Operations to deliver outcomes.
- Ensure operational readiness, system performance, reliability, and code quality.
Required skills
- 7+ years in software engineering with 3-6 years in team leadership.
- Strong experience in TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, or C#.
- Good understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud, microservices, and secure coding.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical designs and delivery plans.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), Kubernetes, Terraform
- Knowledge of distributed systems, messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ), SRE principles
- Familiarity with OWASP, ISO 27001, SOC2, or SDLC compliance
