Job Description
Brief Summary
Join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing the reliability and efficiency of Power Plants. This role involves driving Health, Safety, and Environmental practices while ensuring optimal operations and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a robust Health, Safety, and Environmental culture within Power Plants. Guarantee legal compliance in all activities related to Health and Safety and other statutory requirements. Manage, control, and document Management of Change (MOC) activities through the Quality Management system. Support the team to achieve maximum reliability of Power Plants. Assist during unavailability scenarios to expedite recovery processes. Propose and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and reliability. Analyze technical issues and recommend solutions to mitigate risks and prevent recurrence. Conduct incident analysis and suggest corrective actions. Monitor Power Plants operations proactively to anticipate technical issues. Develop and implement tools for enhanced monitoring of Power Plants and equipment performance. Support the preparation and execution of planned maintenance activities. Provide managerial guidance and motivation to the Power Plants team. Liaise with external stakeholders regarding daily operational issues. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient operation. Coordinate with third-party stakeholders to fulfill contractual obligations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from an accredited institution. Additional qualifications in Management, Safety, Project Management, Emergency Management, or Quality Management are advantageous. A minimum of 15 years of relevant technical experience in power plant operations and/or maintenance. Proven experience in the erection, commissioning, and initial start-up of modern Power Stations. Strong understanding of Combined Cycle Power Station setup and operations. Familiarity with Control and Instrumentation in Power Plants. Knowledge of Combined Cycle performance analysis and optimization. In-depth knowledge of contemporary Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management practices. Capability to lead teams and manage personnel during critical plant outage periods. Ability to thrive in a multicultural team environment and perform under pressure. Willingness to support the team on an ad hoc basis to ensure high availability of Power Plants.
