Technical Manager (Electrical Engineering)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager to lead and manage electrical engineering works across residential, commercial, and industrial projects in Singapore.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overall technical planning, site coordination, compliance with local regulations, and management of project teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of works.
Key Responsibilities:

.Lead and oversee electrical engineering works from design to completion

.Prepare and review technical drawings, single-line diagrams, and shop drawings

.Ensure compliance with Singapore electrical codes, SS standards, and MOM/EMA requirements

.Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, and authorities

.Manage site teams, supervisors, and subcontractors

.Resolve complex technical issues on-site

.Review method statements, risk assessments, and safety documentation

.Support tendering, quotations, and variation orders

.Ensure project progress, quality control, and cost efficiency

Requirements:
.Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

.Minimum 8-10 years of relevant electrical construction experience, preferably in Singapore

.Strong knowledge of Singapore electrical regulations and site practices

.Proven experience managing multiple projects and site teams

.Ability to work independently and make technical decisions

.Role requires extensive hands-on experience in electrical construction projects, including site execution, coordination, and troubleshooting

.Requires deep familiarity with Singapore-specific electrical regulations, site practices, and authority submissions, gained over many years

.Requires experience handling fast-track construction projects with tight schedules and manpower constraints

.Requires ability to manage foreign worker teams, subcontractors, and site supervisors effectively

.Requires strong technical decision-making capability with minimal supervision

.Requires continuity in project leadership due to ongoing projects and long-term technical responsibilities

.Good communication and coordination skills
