Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the technical team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective delivery of project requirements.
- Coordinate structural, architectural finishes, and M&E works with project consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Review, comment on, and submit shop drawings, RFIs, and technical documents in accordance with consultants design drawings, specifications, and the baseline programme.
- Ensure timely submission and approval of shop drawings and technical documentation, monitoring progress and highlighting delays with clear justification.
- Provide technical support to the construction team, addressing site-related technical issues and ensuring alignment with design intent.
- Carry out design coordination with consultants and subcontractors to facilitate accurate shop drawing preparation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes of practice, regulations, contract requirements, and B-Score criteria.
- Oversee and report on the overall progress of technical submissions, proactively identifying risks and mitigation measures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with a strong engineering and design background, gained in a contractor and/or consultant environment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate technical teams.
- Solid understanding of procurement, engineering, and construction processes.
- Strong written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
