Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Technical Manager (Cloud) to lead the design, deployment, and management of enterprise cloud environments across AWS and Azure. The role covers both Day 1 deployment and Day 2 operations, with a strong focus on cloud architecture, automation, security, resilience, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement AWS and Azure cloud architectures aligned with enterprise security and compliance requirements
Evaluate and recommend cloud-native services, tools, and deployment approaches
Implement enterprise cloud solutions across Day 1 deployment and Day 2 operations
Resolve issues arising from cloud deployments, migrations, integrations, and operations
Drive automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, and CI/CD pipelines
Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, security, and continuous improvement
Oversee cloud platform maintenance and associated automation tools
Conduct disaster recovery drills and simulation testing for critical workloads
Lead resolution of incidents, performance bottlenecks, and complex cloud operational issues

Requirements

6+ years of cloud infrastructure deployment and operations experience
Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure, covering both Day 1 and Day 2 activities
Strong experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation and/or Azure Resource Manager (ARM)
Experience delivering cloud solutions for enterprise and/or Singapore Government sector clients
Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security, scalability, resilience, and best practices
Experience with IaC, CI/CD, automation, and cloud monitoring
Python scripting experience is advantageous
Hybrid/multi-cloud experience and GCP knowledge are advantageous
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
