Technical Lead (Temenos T24, Core banking)

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical design and development for Temenos T24 implementations, enhancements, and upgrades.
• Drive development of custom components, APIs, and interfaces aligned to business and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical direction for service packs and platform modernization initiatives.
• Ensure solutions adhere to Temenos standards, performance guidelines, and security controls.
• Act as the technical point of contact for complex issues, root cause analysis, and resolution.
• Review technical designs, code, and configurations to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Guide offshore and onsite teams through development, SIT, UAT support, and release activities.
• Collaborate closely with architects, functional consultants, and business stakeholders.
• Lead development of interfaces and integrations between T24 and external banking systems
• Work with interaction frameworks and APIs to support digital and channel integrations.
• Ensure reliable data exchange and system interoperability across the banking ecosystem.
• Support build and deployment activities across development, test, and production environments.
• Work with DevOps teams to improve release automation, version control, and deployment stability.
• Participate in audits, reviews, and production readiness assessments.
• Mentor and support junior developers and consultants, promoting technical excellence.
• Coordinate across geographically distributed teams to meet delivery milestones.
• Communicate technical solutions and risks clearly to non-technical and senior stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of hand on experience in core banking and Temenos T24
• Expertise in T24 custom development, APIs, and technical frameworks.
• Strong experience of core banking modules, transaction processing, and security concepts.
• Strong experience with Jbase, Unix, Linux.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Oracle for core banking development
• Strong experience with Oracle databases, including SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Experience in Azure Devops and modern delivery tooling.
• Hands on experience in Jboss.
• involved in IRIS framework development and enhancements to support integration and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex delivery timelines.
• Prior experience working with global banks or financial institutions.
• Experience supporting audits, compliance checks, and regulatory-driven initiatives.
• Familiarity with middleware, application servers, and integration platforms.
