Technical lead/ Delivery Manager

Job Description & Requirements

Overall Management of Technical Delivery including the Upstream and Downstream Interfacing Systems

1. Stakeholder Management

a. Manage project Business and Technology stakeholders, e.g., escalation, expectation, conflict, scope changes, etc.

b. Manage relationships with stakeholders

c. Ensure teams work in a collaborative environment

2. Scope Management

a. Manage all changes to the agreed scope of work

b. Review and assess changes and impact to timeline & cost

c. Ensure all changes are approved

3. Project Governance

a. Coordinate preparation of project plan for ITC, reporting to Program Manager

b. Secretary for PSC meetings, chair PWC meetings for their module/project

4. Risk and Issue Management

a. Anticipate, capture and manage overall project-level risks and issues

b. Track risk aging

c. Own and drive resolution and escalate risks and issues in a timely manner

5. Implementation Management

a. Prepare overall implementation plan taking inputs from all stakeholders including technology. business, operations and co-ordinate execution by respective application teams

6. Process Adherence

a. Partner with stakeholders in ensuring System Development Methodology is followed

7. Project Reporting

a. Measure, monitor and report progress to stakeholders

Requirements:

• At least 6 years Experience of Cheque Truncation system knowledge
• At least 8 years of experience in every stage of software development lifecycle. Relevant Technical & PM certification will be plus including knowledge of technologies like UNIX, Java, MQ etc.
• Experience in effective planning, execution, monitoring End-to-end technical activities and reporting to senior management
• Experience in managing Technology vendor and Business stakeholders from various ASEAN countries and have appreciation of local IT regulations

Other skills

• Experience in communicating with technical stakeholders
• Highly effective communicating with technical stakeholders, proficient communicating with non-technical stakeholders
• Good problem solving and analytical skills

Education

Degree in computer science or related professional/technical qualification will be advantageous although not mandatory

Key Domain/ Technical Skills:

At least 8 years of experience in every stage of software development lifecycle. Relevant Technical & PM certification will be plus including knowledge of technologies like IBM OS400, ATM Host, Middleware, MQ etc.
