Role Overview
This role leads Android feature delivery, squad management, design review, and continuous improvement activities for customer mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Android software delivery, feature planning, and architectural reviews.
- Guide coding standards, security considerations, and test automation.
- Partner with product, UI/UX, backend services, and platform stakeholders.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance optimisation.
- Mentor developers, enable knowledge transfer, and elevate delivery maturity.
Requirements
- 7+ years Android development experience.
- Hands-on coding expertise in Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, API consumption, storage, notifications, and testing frameworks.
- Experience in enterprise mobility or large app environments.
- Strong communication and Agile scrum delivery exposure.
