About the Company:

Our client is one of Singapore's leading technology services firms.

Role: Technical Lead - AI (12-month Contract)

Remuneration: Upto SGD 12,000 per month

Location: Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership

Lead technical design and architecture across applications, cloud, data, and integrations.

Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions and architecture artefacts.

Define and enforce coding standards, design principles, and best practices.

Review solution designs and code to ensure quality, performance, and security.

Provide guidance on modern architectures (cloud-native, microservices, event-driven).

Delivery & Implementation

Oversee end-to-end technical delivery across the SDLC (design, build, test, deploy, support).

Troubleshoot critical technical issues and provide resolution guidance.

Ensure solutions meet NFRs (availability, scalability, performance, security).

Support deployment, migration, and environment setup activities. Stakeholder Management

Act as the main technical point of contact for clients and internal teams.

Participate in requirement workshops, technical discussions, and design reviews.

Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Team Leadership

Guide and mentor developers and engineers (backend, frontend, and data).

Support capability building and knowledge sharing within the team.

Allocate technical tasks and oversee quality of deliverables.

Governance & Compliance

Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.

Contribute to technical documentation (HLD, LLD, ADRs, runbooks).

Support audits, risk assessments, and governance reviews. Pre-Sales Support (SI Context)

Provide technical input for proposals, solutioning, and estimations.

Support RFP/RFI responses and client presentations.

Qualifications Requirements Experience

Experience in software engineering, system integration, or solution delivery

Proven experience leading technical teams in medium to large projects

Experience in SI or consulting environments is highly preferred

Technical Skills Backend & Integration

Strong programming experience in Golang, Java, Node.js, or similar.

API design (REST/GraphQL), microservices, and middleware integration.

Experience with message queues and event-driven architectures is a plus.

Frontend

Working knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).

Understanding of frontend architecture, responsive design, and API integration.

Familiarity with UI/UX best practices and performance optimisation. Cloud & DevOps

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - CI/CD pipelines, containers (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).

Infrastructure as Code familiarity is a plus. AI & Data - Working knowledge of AI/ML and GenAI concepts.

Experience integrating AI services/APIs (e.g., LLMs, OCR, speech, recommendations).

Understanding of data pipelines, vector databases, or prompt design is a plus.

Data & Security

Databases (SQL/NoSQL).

Understanding of security best practices and architecture frameworks.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good communication and stakeholder management.

Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-project environments.

Nice to Have - Cloud or architecture certifications

Exposure to digital transformation or platform modernization programs.
