JOB SUMMARY
Support Quality Control engineer and/or Supervisor in daily QA/QC activity to support business operations
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform incoming, in-process and outgoing QC activity which involves visual, dimensional, and function-al testing in accordance to pre-determined inspection plan & procedure
- Reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to make sure they meet company require-ments.
- Using measurement equipment such as CMM, Smart Scope, Caliper, Tool Maker Scope, micrometer to measure products
- Responsible for containment actions and control of non-conforming products arising from inspection ac-tivity or a reported quality incident
- Assist in data collection and analysis work for continuous improvement activity
- Summarize and publish quality inspection & activity report
- Perform housekeeping of quality records and sample retention
- Undertake work assignments relating to quality function as directed by Quality Control Engineer and/or Quality Supervisor
- Observe company safety rules and regulations
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Min. O Level or Technical School
- Understand simple English
- Min 2 yr working experience with at least one year in manufacturing environment
- Preferred working in medical device company
- Thorough understanding of process validations and risk management analysis requirements for medical industry.
JOB-RELATED SKILLS & PRE-REQUISITES
- Good eyesight with no colour blindness and familiar with inspection using a scope
- Familiar with basic measurement equipment such as micrometer, dial gauge, pin gauge and toolmaker scope
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word
