The Job:-
- Strong leadership demonstration by achieving safety targets and directives set forth for the Technical Department
- Initiate and manage capital/expense projects in accordance to Company's project development and execution process
- Provide process engineering and optimization support for the facility including energy and process improvement initiatives, process monitoring and performance benchmarking
- Lead the development of continuous improvement and gap closure activities for the site
- Act as Subject Matter Expert of various Operational Excellence (OE) procedures
- Drive plant information management and monitoring systems
- Supports Process Safety Management (PSM) by active participation in process hazard analysis studies, incident investigations and Management of Change (MOC) process
- Provide engineering support for Safety Case, turnaround and other plant troubleshooting activities
- Responsible for Complex coordination work
Qualification/Experience: -
- Degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experiences with engineering or project function, preferably in petrochemical plant or oil refinery
- Knowledge in process control will be an advantage
- A strong personal commitment to safety along with strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate multi-disciplined teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and demonstrate skills in evaluating and prioritizing work to ensure alignment with the department's goals
- Highly motivated and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
