Job Summary

The Technical Engineer will lead equipment installation, provide expert technical consultation, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver after-sales service to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical consultation during customer engagements to align system solutions with application requirements
  • Recommend and configure system setups tailored to customer needs to optimize operational efficiency
  • Communicate technical specifications clearly to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders
  • Lead on-site installation, calibration, and commissioning of industrial equipment to ensure accurate deployment
  • Execute comprehensive testing and system verification to validate equipment functionality and safety
  • Provide operational training and safety instructions to customers to enable effective equipment use
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly through remote and on-site support
  • Document service activities, maintenance records, and technical feedback to maintain quality standards
  • Coordinate spare parts management and liaise with technical teams to support continuous system reliability

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Demonstrated hands-on troubleshooting skills in industrial machinery or technical service environments
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and diagrams accurately
  • Proficient English communication skills for effective collaboration and customer interaction

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience of 1-3 years in industrial machinery or technical service roles
  • Willingness to travel locally to provide site support
  • Ability to communicate in Chinese to facilitate engagement with specific customer segments
