Job Summary
The Technical Engineer will lead equipment installation, provide expert technical consultation, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver after-sales service to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical consultation during customer engagements to align system solutions with application requirements
- Recommend and configure system setups tailored to customer needs to optimize operational efficiency
- Communicate technical specifications clearly to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders
- Lead on-site installation, calibration, and commissioning of industrial equipment to ensure accurate deployment
- Execute comprehensive testing and system verification to validate equipment functionality and safety
- Provide operational training and safety instructions to customers to enable effective equipment use
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly through remote and on-site support
- Document service activities, maintenance records, and technical feedback to maintain quality standards
- Coordinate spare parts management and liaise with technical teams to support continuous system reliability
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Demonstrated hands-on troubleshooting skills in industrial machinery or technical service environments
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and diagrams accurately
- Proficient English communication skills for effective collaboration and customer interaction
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience of 1-3 years in industrial machinery or technical service roles
- Willingness to travel locally to provide site support
- Ability to communicate in Chinese to facilitate engagement with specific customer segments
