The Role:
- You will validate and test the function of selected lighting products for designated markets and solutions. You will lead to develop and test solution lighting applications.
- You will provide lighting application support for the lighting solutions to the partners.
- You will provide both online and offline training to customers and partners.
- You will be the main contact support person for the lighting solution project application.
- You will provide onsite and remote support for lighting system setup, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- You will conduct lighting site evaluations, lighting system checks, and lighting post-installation reviews to ensure project quality and stability.
- You will identify and document recurring field technical issues/problems for escalation to the global support team and/or R&D team.
- You will represent the Company at technical events, exhibitions, and customer demonstrations where appropriate.
What Do You Need to Have
- You must possess a ITE NITEC or a Diploma or a Degree in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- You must possess at least 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting and testing lighting control systems, lighting applications and/or lighting installation & commissioning.
- Candidate with prior experience conducting technical trainings or customer workshops is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of lighting control protocols, Bluetooth Mesh networks, DALI, and DMX protocols.
- Familiarity with lighting fixture integration, drivers, sensors, and control devices.
- Competence in onsite troubleshooting and commissioning of lighting control systems.
- Proficiency in standard digital tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent stake holder management for project execution and onsite progress update and communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to deliver engaging technical training and manage diverse audiences.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and within regional teams.
- Willingness to travel within the APAC region (Approximately 20-30%).
