Role Summary
The Technical Delivery Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery, governance and stability of enterprise platforms within the client's technology landscape, including document and content management systems (e.g. Open Text). The role requires strong stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams, including senior leadership and ownership of delivery outcomes aligned to regulatory and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Management
- Engage and manage stakeholders across business, operations and technology, including senior management (MD/Director level)
- Act as the primary interface between business users and IT delivery teams
- Facilitate decision-making through structured governance and clear communication
Vendor Management & Continuous Improvement
- Manage vendor performance and deliverables where applicable
- Identify and drive process improvements, automation and efficiency initiatives
- Support technology transformation and modernization programs
Delivery & Governance
- Lead end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives, enhancements and releases across enterprise platforms
- Establish and drive governance cadence including steering committees, working groups and executive reporting
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Manage delivery risks, dependencies and change requests across multiple workstreams
Reporting & Dashboarding
- Prepare and present management dashboards, KPIs and status reports to senior stakeholders
- Provide insights on delivery health, risk exposure and mitigation strategies
- Track and report progress against milestones, SLAs and key performance indicators
Cross-functional Leadership
- Coordinate across application, infrastructure, network, security and vendor teams
- Drive alignment on solution design, delivery timelines and operational readiness
- Manage dependencies across systems and teams to ensure seamless delivery
Production Stability & Risk Management
- Oversee production support (L2/L3) to ensure platform stability and performance
- Drive incident, problem and change management processes
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
- Ensure compliance with audit, risk and regulatory controls
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
- 10-12+ years of experience in technology delivery / program management within banking or financial services
- Strong experience in stakeholder management, including senior leadership engagement
- Proven experience in governance, reporting and delivery management
- Familiarity with Enterprise Content Management / OpenText - good to have
- Experience in Agile / Waterfall delivery models
