Technical Delivery Manager

Experience Requirements

Total Relevant Experience: 8 to 12 years of overall IT experience.

Technical Delivery Management Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience managing end-to-end technology delivery engagements.

Preferred Domain Experience: Banking, Financial Services, Digital Banking, and large-scale program delivery environments.

Core Competencies (Mandatory)

• Strong experience in managing end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, governance, risk management, dependency tracking, and stakeholder communications.
• Thorough understanding of banking regulatory requirements, security standards, compliance frameworks, audit controls, authentication mechanisms, and fraud/risk management practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Core Technical Skills (Mandatory)

Strong hands-on experience with Java 8, Java 11, Java 17, and Java 21.

Deep understanding of Core Java concepts, including:

1. Multithreading and Concurrency
2. JVM Performance Tuning
3. Collections Framework
4. Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
5. Design Patterns

Extensive experience with:

1. Spring Framework
2. Spring Boot
3. Spring MVC

Expertise in modern application architectures:

1. Microservices Architecture
2. RESTful API Design & Development
3. Event-Driven Architecture

Database experience with:

1. Oracle
2. MySQL

Messaging and integration technologies:

1. Apache Kafka
2. RabbitMQ

Strong understanding of delivery best practices:

1. Agile/Scrum methodologies
2. Code Reviews
3. Technical Leadership and Ownership
4. Release and Deployment Governance

Secondary Skills (Preferred)

• Professional certifications such as PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, or other Agile certifications will be an added advantage.
• Monitoring & Observability: Splunk, Grafana, Geneos.
• Collaboration & ALM Tools: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.
