Technical Consultant (SunSystems ERP)

We are hiring for a project with a global client in the financial services domain to support their Finance and ERP technology landscape. We are looking for a SunSystems Consultant with strong experience in Infor SunSystems Financial Management, financial accounting processes, and enterprise ERP environments.

The role involves implementing, enhancing, and supporting the SunSystems platform while working closely with finance teams, technology teams, and business stakeholders to ensure stable and scalable financial system operations. The ideal candidate will contribute to the full ERP lifecycle including requirement gathering, system configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support. You will collaborate with finance users, integration teams, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable financial technology solutions that support critical accounting and reporting functions.

Candidates who have experience supporting production ERP systems, resolving finance system issues, and interacting with business users will be highly valued. Applicants should have a strong understanding of financial systems, accounting workflows, and ERP best practices. Experience working in financial services, banking, insurance, or asset management environments will be considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Support implementation, configuration, and enhancement of the Infor SunSystems Financial Management system.
• Work with finance stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into system configurations and solutions.
• Configure and support modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting.
• Assist in data migration, system upgrades, and integrations with other enterprise applications.
• Support month-end and year-end financial processes by ensuring system stability and accurate reporting.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide L2/L3 production support for SunSystems applications.
• Develop and maintain financial reports and data extracts using reporting tools.
• Work closely with development, infrastructure, and finance teams to ensure smooth deployment and operations.
• Maintain documentation, system configuration guides, and user training materials.

• Understanding of multi-currency, multi-entity finance environments
