We are looking for a technical authority in the lubricants industry to bridge the gap between formulation science and market expansion. This is a Technical Product Lead position where you will own the full lifecycle of our products—from overseeing the chemistry and blending production to providing expert onsite diagnostics and driving regional growth through technical credibility.
Responsibilities
- Lead lubricant formulation projects and coordinate with blending plants to ensure product performance. Provide hands-on diagnostics for equipment failures and conduct lubrication audits at customer sites.
- Manage the technical roadmap for the region. This includes maintaining up-to-date PDS/MSDS documentation and ensuring compliance with regional standards like SIRIM and SNI.
- Strategize and optimize supply chain operations, including blending production schedules and warehouse storage efficiency.
- Act as the primary expert for distributors and regional partners. You will guide them through complex regulatory audits and provide high-level training to internal teams and end-users.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and potential distributors. Build long-term relationships by translating technical data into clear business value and performance improvements for clients.
- Manage regional P&L and commercial contracts, providing monthly performance reports and data-driven insights for management reviews.
Professional Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical), Business, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in the lubricant sector, with a deep understanding of formulation, additives, and engine maintenance (Marine, Automotive, or Industrial).
- Proven experience in conducting site visits, diagnosing technical issues, and managing technical documentation.
- Familiarity with blending plant operations, supply chain logistics, or regulatory audit processes.
- The ability to explain complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders and build trust with regional partners.
- A willingness to travel within the region to support distributors and conduct site audits.
- A collaborative spirit, comfortable working across sales, marketing, and production teams to ensure smooth product launches.
- Mandarin-speaking proficiency is a must to support regional markets and stakeholders.
