About the Role
We are looking for a forward-thinking Business Analyst to support a large-scale Mobile Apps Unification initiative. This role partners closely with product teams, developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to consolidate multiple standalone mobile applications into a single, seamless user experience.
Beyond requirements gathering and documentation, the BA will also support project coordination, testing documentation, and basic technical tasks such as raising firewall, DNS, and cloud-related requests. This is a hands-on role suitable for someone who thrives in a fast-paced digital environment with strong attention to detail and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements
- Partner with product owners and business teams to gather, validate, and document functional and non-functional requirements for the unified mobile app platform.
- Analyze workflows from existing apps and translate them into consolidated, scalable user journeys.
- Support user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mapping, and gap analysis.
- Assist in backlog grooming and sprint discussions with development teams.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate between product, development, QA, UI/UX, and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment on deliverables and timelines.
- Maintain project trackers, follow up on action items, and support meeting preparation and minutes.
Testing & Documentation
- Prepare test scripts, test cases, and acceptance criteria for mobile app features.
- Coordinate UAT cycles, manage defects, and ensure clear documentation of test outcomes.
- Support release documentation, change requests, and technical notes.
Technical Support & Infra Coordination
- Raise firewall, DNS, SSL, and network-related requests on behalf of the project team.
- Liaise with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams to ensure environment readiness.
- Provide basic troubleshooting support during integration and testing phases.
- Assist with cloud-related tasks such as environment provisioning coordination or reviewing basic deployment dependencies.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in mobile applications, digital transformation, or enterprise IT environments.
- Strong understanding of mobile app workflows, APIs, UX flows, and backend integrations.
- Experience preparing documentation such as BRD, FSD, user stories, test cases, and UAT scripts.
- Familiarity with project coordination frameworks and tools (Jira, Confluence, Agile boards).
- Basic technical knowledge to handle firewall, DNS, and infrastructure change requests.
- Good understanding of cloud concepts such as environments, deployments, connectivity, and permissions (AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage).
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Good to Have
- Experience with mobile app consolidation, super-app development, or large-scale digital programs.
- Exposure to Adobe AEM, CMS, middleware, or API management platforms.
- Understanding of security concepts such as SSL, VPN, authentication, and data flow.
