Own the product acceptance layer of our AI-first SDLC: translate business requirements into crisp acceptance criteria, design the acceptance test strategy, automate high-value scenarios (using company-approved AI tools), and present objective release-readiness recommendations to the Product Committee (acting as CAB). The role balances technical BA rigor with QA depth, ensuring each release is secure, compliant, auditable, and aligned to business value.
Key responsibilities
Requirements & acceptance criteria
- Analyze business requirements and PRDs to create unambiguous acceptance criteria (e.g., BDD-style Given/When/Then) and clear non-functional requirements (security, performance, compliance).
- Maintain end-to-end traceability from requirement test evidence approval in ticketing/VCS systems.
Test strategy & planning
- Create a product acceptance test strategy covering integration, UAT, happy paths, edge cases, and negative/fraud scenarios align with security/testing outputs (SAST/DAST/vulnerability scans).
- Define test plans and test data needs ensure no production/cardholder data is used in AI tools.
Automation with approved AI tools
- Use company-approved AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT Business, Cursor, Lovable) to generate automated acceptance test suites and scaffolds from defined criteria & business scenarios-always with human review/peer review and proper evidence capture.
Execution & reporting
- Execute acceptance suites across environments triage defects with Dev, Sec, and DevOps confirm fixes meet criteria.
- Produce Acceptance Test Reports (metrics, pass/fail per criterion, known issues, residual risks, security findings, evidence links) and present to the Product Committee with a clear go/no-go recommendation for production readiness.
Compliance, security & auditability
- Ensure artifacts and approvals (business, technical, security, compliance) are recorded support audits with explainable evidence. Retain evidence per policy.
- Proactively identify/flag AI-related risks (fairness/bias, explainability), data protection issues, and separation-of-duties breaches.
Key Requirements
- 4+ years experience in Technical Business Analysis or Product QA / Testing
- Deep understanding of product workflows, system requirements, and user journeys
- Hands-on experience in:
- Functional and UAT testing
- Test planning & execution
- Writing test cases and acceptance criteria
- Regression & API testing
- Comfort working with automation or AI-assisted testing tools (experience piloting or adopting AI tools a strong plus)
- Experience with FinTech, payments, banking, or transactional systems preferred
- Strong analytical skills with ability to break down complex workflows
- Effective communicator with cross-functional teams
