Technical Analyst, Java, Cobol & SQL l 12 months contract

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Technical Analyst to support both functional and technical aspects of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java, Cobol, and SQL, and an ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and support.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Support

• Translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Analyze and design enhancements to existing functionalities.
• Perform data mining and testing to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with users, developers, and project leads to improve processes.

Technical Support

• Assist in Java application development and post-implementation troubleshooting.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and analysis.
• Support users with technical issues and enhance system performance.

Problem Solving

• Diagnose and resolve issues in Java/Cobol applications and SQL databases.
• Analyze operational challenges and recommend improvements.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to system improvements and process automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor&aposs degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience with Java, Cobol, and SQL.
• 2+ years in SDLC and change request implementation.
• 2+ years in operations or BAU support.
• Proficiency in SQL and query optimization.
• Solid business analysis and problem-solving skills.
