Reporting to the General Manager, ARGUS Software & Data, the Technical Account Director - Asia is a key member of the GTM APAC team, supporting sales and strategic customers through the pre-sales, sales, and marketing lifecycle. You'll bring deep product and industry knowledge to shape solutions for prospective and existing clients while connecting the dots between Sales, Services, and technical teams to ensure we deliver real outcomes. Additionally, you will develop and manage a small team of presales consultants to partner with the GTM team across the APAC region to deliver ambitious growth plans.

A core focus of the role is driving customer success through strong account planning and business reviews across key accounts, strengthening executive relationships, improving client experience, and supporting retention and growth across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales and Strategic Accounts across Asia to provide technical and commercial subject matter expertise across Altus Group solutions through the pre-sales and sales cycle
  • Set the standard for your team of presales consultants in APAC, with a strong connection to the global experts to ensure the latest methods, technology and insights are deployed. Managing and developing your team with high integrity and Altus values central to your approach.
  • Lead product demonstrations, solution presentations, and technical discovery to support new business, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans and customer success strategies to grow ARR, retention, and long-term client value
  • Facilitate strategic business reviews and executive-level engagement within key enterprise accounts
  • Act as the bridge between Sales, Services, Product, Training, and Support teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and delivered
  • Conduct research on prospective clients and market segments to support tailored proposals, presentations, and go-to-market activity
  • Serve as the voice of the customer in Asia, providing insights and feedback to internal teams to drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain accurate and consistent CRM records, tracking account activity, client engagement, opportunities, and progress
  • Analyse client usage trends and performance data to identify risks, opportunities, and areas to improve customer experience
  • Support development of case studies and client testimonials to strengthen marketing and sales enablement efforts


Key Qualifications (5-8)

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years experience in SaaS technology specialist, enterprise account management, customer success, training, or partnership roles
  • Experience developing and managing a small team across the APAC region.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow high-value enterprise accounts across multiple regions and channels with a customer first approach.
  • Strong Commercial Real Estate industry expertise, with advanced understanding of ARGUS solutions (or similar) and commercial valuation processes
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding growth targets through consultative selling and account leadership
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior and executive-level stakeholders both internal and external
  • High capability using CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar), with attention to detail and strong pipeline and reporting discipline
  • Fluent English required additional Asian languages considered an advantage
