Job Purpose:
- Responsible for establishing, leading, and managing a centralized testing function to standardize and optimize testing processes across the organization. This role supports the delivery of high-quality software, reduces defects, and enhances system resiliency. The position requires close coordination with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective software testing.
- This individual will play a key role in transitioning to an independent, centralized testing framework, ensuring high-quality software delivery, reduced defects and improved system resiliency.
Key Accountabilities & Outcomes:
Test Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and scripts.
- Define and communicate testing standards and best practices.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead and manage the testing team.
- Provide training and mentoring
- Optimize resource allocation.
Test Execution and Reporting
- Oversee testing execution and monitor key metrics.
- Ensure timely defect reporting and resolution.
- Provide actionable reports to stakeholders
Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align testing with project needs.
- Maintain clear communication and updates.
Risk Management and QA/QC
- Identify and mitigate testing-related risks.
- Implement QA and QC frameworks.
- Drive defect prevention
Process Improvement and Innovation
- Analyse and enhance testing processes.
- Implement automation and evaluate improvements.
Collaboration with External Partners
- Manage vendor relationships and integrate third-party tools.
Technology Adoption and Automation
- Promote automation tools and stay updated on trends.
Governance and Compliance
- Establish governance frameworks.
- Ensure regulatory and organizational compliance.
Experience:
- 810 years in software testing or QA.
- 35 years in a Head of Test CoE role.
- Experience in large-scale organizations.
- Open to both local and foreigner talents as well
