Team Lead, Offshore Wealth Management

We are partnering with a leading international banking institution to hire a Team Lead, Offshore Wealth Management in Singapore.

This role is responsible for leading a team of Relationship Managers serving offshore affluent and high-net-worth clients while driving client acquisition, portfolio growth, and revenue generation across key international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Offshore Relationship Managers to achieve and exceed business, revenue, and client acquisition targets.
• Drive the growth and profitability of the offshore banking portfolio through effective sales management and business development initiatives.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and support the career development of team members.
• Develop and execute market strategies to grow assets under management (AUM), net new money (NNM), and client relationships.
• Manage and grow a personal portfolio of offshore affluent and high-net-worth clients.
• Build strong relationships with clients and provide holistic wealth management and financial planning solutions.
• Collaborate with investment advisors, product specialists, credit partners, and other stakeholders to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
• Monitor market developments, industry trends, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and internal policies.
• Prepare and present business performance updates to senior management.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience managing Relationship Managers within Offshore Banking, Wealth Management, Priority Banking, Premier Banking, or Private Banking.
• Strong track record in client acquisition, portfolio growth, AUM gathering, and revenue generation.
• Experience managing offshore clients across markets such as North Asia, Greater China, Indonesia, Malaysia, or other regional corridors.
• Sound understanding of investment, insurance, wealth planning, and treasury solutions.
• Strong people management, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
• Results-driven with the ability to perform in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
• Relevant CMFAS certifications and regulatory qualifications preferred.
