Position Description: Team Lead, Asia Dealing
Reports to: Head of Asia
Location: Singapore
Purpose of your role
You will be responsible for leading a team of client Managers across Singapore and Hong Kong. Your primary objective will be to drive the team's performance, support the development and implementation of strategies to maximise client retention and growth, as well as manage a portfolio of existing corporate clients.
You will possess deep business development skills as well as specialist FX dealing experience with the primary aim being to maximise value and catch full wallet whilst always advocating for the client's best interest.
In managing the foreign exchange requirements of a large portfolio, as well as leading a team, you will be well rehearsed in articulating OFX's value proposition with a view that growth and peripheral client opportunities will be identified and won over time.
What you do
. Support the Head of Asia in identifying, onboarding, training and nurturing talent.
. Promote a culture of high performance by leading, motivating, and developing a team of experienced client managers. Responsible for setting clear goals, providing guidance and support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
. Create coaching and development opportunities and actively shape a team that supports the region's strategic direction.
. Optimise use of existing resources, managing daily workflows, rosters, and schedules to ensure inbound phone queues, mailbox and overall workloads are managed and monitored well.
. Act as an escalation point in handling poor client experiences and complaints.
. Actively seek to win, establish and nurture a portfolio of clients and grow our existing revenue portfolio. Promote customer conversions by selling the benefits of OFX service compared to that of its competitors.
. Pro-actively service new and existing clients across all available outbound channels, providing best in class expertise and specialist market and product knowledge.
. Effectively and efficiently track performance and exceed activity and outcome standards using existing CRM tools.
. Ensure strong governance and maintain an intimate and up to date knowledge of all risk, compliance, credit and legislative requirements of the business and desk
. Actively promote the OFX brand throughout the region.
. Actively engage and work closely with the Asia Sales, Partnership and Marketing in pursuit of regional commercial objectives
What you bring
Qualifications
. Degree qualified in a Finance or a business-related discipline
Knowledge, skills, experience
. 7 + years of relationship management experience within Financial Services FX experience highly desired
. A deep understanding of financial markets and applicable products
. Ability to interact and communicate with all client types
. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation
. Advanced problem-solving skills
. Ability to work autonomously
. Ability to lead a team
. Strong attention to detail
