Summary of the position:The team head will be managing Business Intelligence team to ensure that all the projects, activities and tasks under the team's responsibility are performed cost-effectively, on schedule, in conformance to the bank's policies and standards and within agreed levels of quality.
Team is responsible for the development/customization and implementation/ rollout of business intelligence reporting solutions to all entities.
Main Responsibilities:- Team Lead - Supervise and oversee DNA/BIS3 Team and its activities
- Plan, organize and prioritize the work assigned to the team in order to meet committed deadlines and other agreed milestones
- Identify, evaluate and report risks and issues to ensure corrective and/or preventive measures are timely taken
- Ensure team's activity adherence to bank's norms and standards
- Ensure processes applied adheres to the Section operational model
- Actively participate/contribute to GIT Paris/ISAP governance for his domain
- Continuously monitor the satisfaction level of customers and put efforts to maintain and improve it
- Continuously monitor the quality of the deliveries and the quality of service
- Evaluate staff member skill/knowledge and recommend training plan
- Review and conduct appraisals for staff under his charge
- Organize staff mobility and staff career development
- HR Management: Recruitments, motivation and career, coaching and mentoring staffs
- Implement DevOps practices
- Continuous improvement of projects, Run and budget
- Supervise and follow-up 3rd Level Support Activities
Main Duties details:Organize and supervise all activities- Report functionally to GIT/BLI/CIT managers in charge of relationship management of business stakeholders and sponsors
- Reach agreements on plans for projects and services provided by the team and ensure deliveries within quality standards, on schedule and in agreed budget
- Manage budget and capacity allocation according to priorities communicated by functional manager
Support and maintenance services of applications under team's responsibility- Manage support of his portfolio of applications in coordination with other organization units
- Escalate and follow-up the problem to external software provided or third party as needed
Development and enhancements of IT systems- Ensure that each projects are conducted as per agreed methodology and in respect for its governance
- Be involved in design, implementation and testing of solutions developed by the team and ensure that each solution fulfils the client needs
- Identify, evaluate and report risks and issues to ensure corrective and/or preventive measures are timely taken
Manage and improve the team capabilities- Ensure cohesion and commitment of the team on its missions
- Evaluate staff members skill/knowledge and recommend training plan, organize staff mobility and staff career development
- Make sure his team members observe and respect the Bank's CA-CIB code of conduct and comply with Bank policies.
General duties- Adopt and deploy management practices and operating models promoted by IT management and support IT strategy
- Stay abreast of technology developments relevant to Data & Analytics domain
Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Singapore Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
- Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
