Teacher

An official recognized Swiss School Abroad, we are a small and familiar school, nestled in a tropical landscape, away from bus roads and designed as a spacious learning oasis. About 250 children currently attending our school, mainly from Switzerland but also from other parts of the world. Our teaching languages are German and English in the German-speaking section and French and English in the French-speaking section.

We have a vacancy for a German language Teacher (18 lessons per week).

Qualifications:

• German native speaking teacher
• Teaching Diploma or Degree holder
• Knowledge of Swiss Education System
• At least 2 years of teaching experience

Teacher's Responsibilities:

• Teaching German as a foreign language in small groups at our German-speaking Kindergartens
• Teaching German as an in-depth study to our Primary 5 and 6 students
• Demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude and a high level of commitment
• Possess strong motivational skills
• Apply differentiated teaching methods and foster independent learning
• Show cultural sensitivity and ease in a multicultural environment
