Requirement:
- Minimum GCE N Levels / NITEC Certification
- Experience in Early Intervention (EI) is an advantage
- Experience working with children and youths with autism is an advantage
- Degree or Diploma in Psychology, Early Childhood, Social Work, Special Needs (advantage)
- Relevant work experience in teaching children 0-6 in Early Childhood or Early Intervention settings (advantage)
- Compassionate and patient personality
Responsibilities:
A) Teacher Aides
- Assist teachers in classroom preparation and teaching.
- Support teachers with assessments, strategy implementation, monitoring progress, and evaluating student goals.
- Assist in implementing effective classroom management strategies.
- Collaborate with parents/caregivers in each student's learning journey.
- Support students with daily needs, including toileting, where required.
B) Coach Assistants
- Support Coaches in community mobility programmes.
- Assist in maintaining classroom structure and setting up workstations.
- Support clients in self-care, grooming, and toileting when required.
- Collect data on behaviour and progress monitoring.
- Assist in classroom management and any other assigned tasks.
Remuneration
- Incentives on top of hourly payout
- Transport allowance for selected positions
- Biweekly payout (paid every two weeks)
Working Hours
- Morning and afternoon slots available (flexible)
Location
- Islandwide (EIPIC centres, SPED schools, and more)
