Teacher Aide in Science Rooms

Job Description

• Manage and maintain Science Rooms, equipment, materials and resources.
• Prepare apparatus and materials for Science lessons and experiments.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and minor repairs of equipment.
• Maintain the school's hydroponics systems and related equipment.
• Assist teachers with Science programmes, activities and events.
• Support activities at the Science Enrich Corner.
• Ensure Science Rooms and resources are clean, organised and well-maintained.
• Perform other Science Room-related duties assigned by the school

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a Science Room, laboratory or similar educational setting.
• At least 1 year of gardening experience, preferably with hydroponics.
• Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Word,PowerPoint and Excel.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good written and spoken English
