Purpose and Scope:

This role supports enterprise-significant transformation initiatives by integrating and deploying internal and external delivery capabilities across priority programmes. The role ensures initiatives receive the appropriate PMO, Change, Agile and Process Excellence support required to achieve successful outcomes.

Acting as the bridge between business leaders, Transformation and Change Office (TCO), IMO and external partners, this role strengthens implementation effectiveness, accelerates initiative mobilisation and builds sustainable delivery capability across the organisation. The role focuses on enabling business-led execution through effective deployment of expertise, capability integration and knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Enterprise Delivery Leadership

• Define and continuously improve how Astellas delivers enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Establish repeatable implementation approaches, delivery frameworks and integration practices that can be reused across enterprise priorities.
• Drive implementation discipline, dependency management and cross-functional integration across initiatives.
• Identify delivery risks, capability gaps and implementation challenges and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Evolve the enterprise delivery model based on lessons learned from future transformation initiatives.

Delivery Standards and Capability

• Work closely with IMO and Delivery Office colleagues to strengthen enterprise delivery standards, implementation discipline and execution approaches.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of implementation practices, playbooks and delivery frameworks for Project Oliver and future enterprise priorities.
• Promote consistent adoption of enterprise delivery methodologies and ways of working, and apply lessons learned to continuously improve delivery effectiveness.
• Support continuous improvement of delivery effectiveness across the organization.

Capability Deployment and Integration

• Determine when PMO, Change, Agile and Process Excellence implementation support is required.
• Coordinate deployment of Delivery Office resources across enterprise priorities.
• Ensure capability ownership remains within Domain Expert teams while implementation support is effectively deployed to initiatives.
• Adjust support models as initiative needs evolve through different phases of delivery.

External Delivery Ecosystem Management

• Develop a scalable delivery ecosystem that combines internal capability, external specialist expertise and capability transfer to support changing enterprise demands.
• Act as the primary integration point for external surge capacity and specialist delivery support.
• Oversee deployment of PMO, Change, Agile and Process Excellence resources provided by external partners; with resources applied where it creates the most impact.
• Promote alignment between external partners, business teams and TCO resources.

Capability Transfer and Sustainability

• Ensure external support leaves behind sustainable organizational capability.
• Drive knowledge transfer, coaching, playbook development and internal capability building.
• Support adoption of enterprise delivery standards, methods and tools across business teams.
• Strengthen internal delivery capability and reduce dependency on external resources over time.

Required Qualifications:

• Significant experience supporting transformation, change or strategic initiatives in a complex organization.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and specialist capabilities to deliver business outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience working with programme delivery, change management, agile or process improvement disciplines.
• Strong communication, facilitation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries and manage competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
• Experience in a Transformation Office, PMO, consulting or strategy execution environment.
• Experience managing external partners or consulting resources.
• Certification in project management, change management, agile or related disciplines.
