Regional Tax Manager (International Tax)
We are seeking an experienced tax professional to lead international tax planning and cross-border transaction structuring for our manufacturing sites, trading entities, and holding companies. This role will partner closely with global stakeholders to ensure optimal tax efficiency, robust compliance, and effective governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive international tax planning strategies and structure cross-border transactions to meet the needs of diverse business entities.
- Design investment holding structures and tax processes, covering transfer pricing policies, profit allocation, CFC regulations, and BEPS 2.0 compliance.
- Oversee corporate income tax and indirect tax (e.g., VAT/GST) compliance across multiple jurisdictions, liaising with local advisors and external auditors.
- Provide tax advisory support to manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and legal teams on order flows, pricing models, and fund transfers.
- Monitor global tax policy changes in APAC and Western markets, conduct risk assessments, and develop strategic responses.
- Implement global tax governance frameworks, including transfer pricing documentation, tax risk matrices, and internal control measures.
- Lead and develop regional or group-level tax teams, provide training, and manage knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Manage tax audits, transfer pricing reviews, and APA applications, including documentation preparation and government liaison.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in taxation, accounting, or audit, including at least 3 years in tax advisory roles within multinational manufacturing groups or Big Four firms.
- In-depth knowledge of tax systems and regulations, including corporate tax frameworks, indirect tax rules, and regional tax incentives, with experience in tax compliance and planning across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong expertise in transfer pricing, supply chain restructuring, offshore entity structuring, and cross-border funding arrangements.
- Hands-on experience with tax audits, transfer pricing reporting, master/local file preparation, and economic substance assessments.
