Your New Role
Lead and take full ownership of tax compliance, statutory reporting, and tax advisory matters for Thailand and Indonesia.
Drive BEPS 2.0 (Pillar Two) readiness, covering impact assessment, stakeholder coordination, and end‑to‑end implementation.
Oversee transfer pricing frameworks, including policy design, documentation, and alignment with local regulatory requirements.
Serve as the primary tax liaison for Japan headquarters and external tax advisors on regional matters.
Identify and manage tax risks, implement mitigation measures, and ensure readiness for audits while supporting tax optimization initiatives.
Ensure local tax practices are aligned with Group policies and global tax strategy.
Support monthly monitoring and review discussions, providing clear financial and tax insights for regional subsidiaries.
Key Qualifications for Success
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related discipline professional qualifications such as CPA, CTA, or equivalent are preferred.
5+ years of relevant tax experience within a multinational or regional environment.
Big 4 tax experience in Singapore is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage multi‑country tax compliance and reporting.
Hands‑on experience across corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax, and transfer pricing.
Practical exposure to BEPS 2.0 / Pillar Two implementation is an added advantage.
Prior interaction with Japan headquarters and/or familiarity with Japanese tax regulations is highly desirable.
Japanese language proficiency is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and effective stakeholder management and communication abilities.
