How will you make an impact in this role

As a Talent Acquisition Partner at American Express, you'll play a strategic role in delivering end-to-end recruitment across the Singapore market, with a strong focus on technical hiring. You'll partner closely with Hiring Leaders to attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent - ensuring every interaction reflects the quality, energy, and care of the American Express brand.

This role is ideal for a proactive recruiter who thrives on building relationships, driving process excellence, and creating outstanding candidate and stakeholder experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate sourcing strategies and proactively maintain talent pipelines to deliver strongly against hiring needs of the American Express Global Decision Science Centre of Excellence
  • Lead the full recruitment lifecycle from strategic hiring discussions and direct sourcing through to interviews, offers, and onboarding — with key focus on sourcing for technical talents (Agentic, Multi-modal, Generative AI, LLM Application development, Engineering, R&D etc)
  • Co-lead the hiring for Summer Internship Program across all Lines of Business in Singapore market and facilitate Campus engagements in local universities (career fairs, talks, hackathon, etc)
  • Collaborate effectively with key business unit stakeholders and cross-functional partners (eg, International Colleague Strategic Partners, Comp & Total Rewards, Colleague Labor Relations)
  • Be a trusted partner to Hiring Leaders in understanding business needs, providing market insights, and driving pragmatic hiring decisions
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Manager, Singapore to enhance overall delivery of recruitment within the market by elevating candidate and Hiring Leader experience through data-driven insights
  • Champion operational excellence by leveraging recruitment technology and ensuring process alignment to Global guidelines & standards

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results
  • Skilled at using recruitment tools and data to drive decisions and improve efficiency
  • Confident decision-maker with sound judgment and attention to detail
  • A true team player who enjoys working in partnerships across the Colleague Experience Group and business teams
