We are representing a retail luxury brand at Paragon to search for a tailor.
The Tailor plays a key role in extending the lifecycle of products through expert repair and remaking services, supporting the brand's broader sustainability vision. This role is dedicated to delivering a highly personalized client experience-engaging, inspiring, and anticipating customer needs while building long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Experience
- Provide a warm, genuine welcome, ensuring every client feels valued and part of a distinctive retail experience
- Deliver personalized tailoring and customization services to create unique pieces that reflect each client's individuality while extending product longevity
- Offer a comprehensive range of repair and customization services, including:Hand and machine embroidery (including typographic designs)Patch, crystal, and stud applicationsBasic alterations and garment adjustmentsButton replacement, pins, and brooch applications
- Curate and present a catalog of customization designs and past creations to inspire clients
- Provide expert advice on bespoke services, guiding clients toward choices aligned with their personal style
- Partner closely with the retail team on sales, pre- and post-sales activities, stock support, and client retention initiatives
- Ensure accurate client data capture and profiling through internal digital tools
Brand & Product
- Represent the brand's values and craftsmanship with authenticity and passion
- Ensure all customization work aligns consistently with brand identity and aesthetic standards
- Maintain the tailoring space in impeccable condition, in line with visual merchandising guidelines
Operations & Compliance
- Support daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures and inventory handling
- Ensure adherence to data protection regulations and health & safety standards
- Leverage digital systems and tools to enhance operational efficiency and client engagement
Requirements
- Good command of English
- Prior experience in retail or customer service is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage clients thoughtfully
- Solutions-oriented mindset with sound judgment and problem-solving ability
