Responsibilities:
- Manage, maintain, and monitor enterprise server environments across Windows Server, Wintel, and Linux platforms.
- Perform routine system administration tasks, including system health checks, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and pre-/post-patch verification.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain virtual machines and server builds to support application deployment requirements.
- Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter for provisioning, patching, and system management.
- Support IT operations activities, including incident handling, problem resolution, and change implementation.
- Execute system changes and deployments in accordance with approved change management processes.
- Plan and carry out system patching activities, including testing, validation, rollout, and rollback when necessary.
- Conduct performance assessments of server infrastructure and recommend improvements for stability and efficiency.
- Perform operating system installations, upgrades, and migrations for Windows servers and related applications.
- Manage Active Directory, domain controllers, and related identity services.
- Coordinate with vendors and technical teams for issue resolution and technical support.
- Provide on-call or standby support for critical system incidents and urgent troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in an enterprise IT environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux systems, and enterprise infrastructure support.
- Experience in patch management, including dependency planning and execution.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies, preferably VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management.
- Experience supporting Active Directory, file servers, and domain services.
- Understanding of system monitoring tools and performance reporting.
