Systems Engineer (VMware, Backup, Cloud)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including Windows Servers, storage, backup systems, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
• Administer Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Azure, and AWS environments.
• Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Support virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix.
• Manage backup solutions (e.g. Veeam, Veritas) and ensure successful backup and recovery operations.
• Perform system patching, security updates, software licensing, and certificate management.
• Support cloud infrastructure, automation, and day-to-day IT operations.
• Maintain technical documentation, reports, and system configurations.
• Participate in 24/7 standby support and ensure SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and support new technology implementations.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• With 2 - 4 years of experience in IT Operations, System Infrastructure, or Cloud Administration.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, backup solutions (Veeam/Veritas), TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Basic understanding of networking and IT security.
• Relevant Microsoft, Azure, or AWS certifications are an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
